The book define culture as a core organizational values widely held and shared by an organization's members. The culture of Delta Airlines will survive the carrier's merger with Northwest Airlines Corp. Delta CEO Richard Anderson told a throng of Atlanta business executives Wednesday. The U.S Department of justice gave its ok to the merger on wednesday. Anderson, the speaker at a commerce club luncheon, said that as the surviving entity in the multi- billion dollar mega-merger, Atlanta-based Delta will hold true to its reputation as a company committed to its employees. Its commitment is evident, Anderson said, in its decision to offer employees profit sharing and its emphasis customer service. Anderson said the company is also dedicated to providing the best compensation possible. Some changes will be seen soon, while others will be more deliberate. it will take from two to three years to integrate Delta and Northwest, which will initially be a Delta subsidiary. Executives have been planning everything from the integration of airline systems and even airport footprints for months
